I am Tommy Furrier, a Hungarian born guitarist specializing in fingerstyle, as well as a composer and songwriter. I began to be interested in music in my childhood and later, at around the age of 13, I started taking some classical guitar lessons and then became a self-taught guitar player. I continued my music studies in Leeds at College of Music. During the late 1990s, while staying in the USA as a student, I was influenced by many great singers, songwriters as well as acoustic guitar players. It was around that time when I began composing and developing my guitar technique seriously in order to produce a unique sound that distinguishes me from my fellow musicians.

After having played with great musicians all around the country and abroad, in March 2018, I released my first solo album called ‘On the back of a Centaur’. I am currently working on several other projects. Please follow my facebook page for announcements.
